Made for when loving and longing is palpable
Right now I'm teaching our baby girl about shapes with little fabric books. Every day we flip through the 8 pages of this black and white book and as we do, we pass over circles and squares to the heart shape. Over the past few weeks, it has become so obvious to me that no shape is more universally meaningful than that of a heart. This is no rectangle or rhombus!
The heart shape holds the pangs of love, the want and longing, and our human need to express it. It's fascinating to me that an aesthetic shape can hold so much emotion without saying a word.
So whether your heart holds a bubbly effervescence of new love, or a yearning to be closer to a person or a place you love, let my pink sand hearts be that simple symbol that means more than words can say.
