Every collection begins at my design table and carving bench, in the quiet hum of the studio, with a small block of wax in my hands.

There’s something almost meditative about it - the soft scrape of tools, the scent of warm wax, the way time seems to slow as shapes begin to emerge.

For this Moongate design, I kept returning to the feeling of walking through those stone arches - the smooth, round curve, the sense of being welcomed forward.

I carved and recarved, letting my hands find the shape that felt like that moment: the breath before a wish, the gentle invitation to step through.

Wax is forgiving in some ways and stubborn in others, and the dance with it is always one of patience and curiosity.

When the form finally revealed itself, it felt less like I had made it and more like the Moongate had been waiting there in the wax all along.

This collection is also a love letter to you - our community of collectors, friends, and champions who have walked beside me for two decades.

I designed to Moongate Ornament to have exactly 20 stones in its circle. Each one represents a year of this journey, and also a wish for the decades to come.

I am endlessly grateful for your support, your stories, and your shared love of Bermuda, which make this work possible.

As I look toward the next twenty years and beyond, I see the Moongate as both a blessing and a promise.
