The tiniest of creatures can have the most significant impact on our environment and it's so important to protect them from harmful chemicals and pesticides. I used to be afraid of being stung by a bee, but I now marvel at them, letting them buzz around me in my flower garden without any trepidation. If you are so inclined, there are many local beekeepers on the island that you can support. Symbolic of being focused and industrious, I'm so pleased the Bermuda honeybee has buzzed into our collection.
Fun fact, bees actually have 6 legs, and my little guy has just 4. This was a helluva decision to make, but I wanted to have enough room in the design for the pink sand bum as well as open, airy lacy wings, and if I added an extra set of legs, the wings were going to have to shrink to a little blade-like span. After a few attempts to stripe the bum with silver and pink, I decided to put striped texture on the other side of the piece and give as much open room to pink sand as possible for this little piece. The furry texture of the bee's back needed its own moment, so I depicted that on the upper back. My team is obsessed with the lacy wings, so I'm glad I dropped a couple of legs for them. I stand behind the "artistic license" card with glee for my wee little bee!
Like my existing lace collection, the little honey bee has open airy wings and a pink sand body. I changed the design to have two pink sand sections on the front and the stripes and upper body fuzz on the back.

Returns & Exchanges
Alexandra guarantees the quality of all her jewellery and wishesto ensure your happiness with her creations.
Provided that your jewellery has not been customized, altered, or adjusted for you at the time of purchase, and provided that it is in perfect, sellable condition and in the original packaging, you may return your jewellery for a gift card within 90 days of purchase, or you may exchange your jewellery within 90 days of purchase. No returns or exchanges are available beyond 90 days of purchase.
IN BERMUDA
If you wish to return or exchange your jewellery and you live in Bermuda, please come by the Studio. For returned items, we will provide a physical gift card for the value of the items returned with a receipt. For exchanged items, a credit of the original purchase value will be applied against the newly selected item(s); should your exchanged for pieces have a lower dollar value than the originally purchased items, you will receive a physical gift card for the difference.

Jewellery Care

The secret to preventing tarnish on sterling silver is to keep it clean, store it sealed off from air, humidity and chemicals. Put your jewellery on after you have finished styling hair and makeup. If the sterling does tarnish, use a silver polishing cloth or mild silver cleaner and dry thoroughly. We highly recommend using "Goddard's Silver Dip" (which is available at Gorham's in Bermuda, or on Amazon worldwide) to keep your silver jewellery looking bright. Goddard's Silver Dip is great to use on our pink sand silver jewellery. Follow the instructions on the jar, and be sure to rinse the solution off entirely, dry your piece thoroughly, and if possible, store it in an air-tight ziplock bag when you are not wearing it.
Your pink sand jewellery can be gently cleaned with water and hand soap and dried with a soft cloth. To protect against scratches, store your pink sand jewellery wrapped in tissue or cloth to protect it. It's best to not submerge your Alexandra Mosher Studio Jewellery pieces in water for a long period of time. We recommend taking it off before bathing, showering, or swimming.
Gently wash your pieces with gentle hand soap and an old toothbrush to remove dirt, rinse well and dry completely with a soft cloth. Maintain your jewellery’s shine by avoiding contact with agents such as perfume, lotion, makeup, hair & cleaning products. Always remove your jewellery before swimming and exercising. Store your gold jewellery in its pouch or lined box when you're not wearing it. If your design has prongs, please have them checked every year either by us or a jeweller in your area.
